Get some fire support deployed to the landing zone, now!
Mortars played a hugely important role in WWII, providing vital indirect fire support in a lightweight, portable package. This made them especially important for airborne forces who needed their support weaponry as soon as they landed. The 81mm mortar gave US Airborne units a powerful weapon for suppressing and dealing with enemy infantry, and proved popular, reliable, and deadly throughout the war.
Medium mortars are some of the most widely used units in all of Bolt Action, giving your force the capability to lay down lethal indirect fire on the enemy. One of the core units of Heavy Weapons Platoons, when drawing line of sight from a friendly spotter they can menace enemy units all across the table. This 3-man team, cast in finely detailed Warlord Resin, wear the iconic M42 jump uniform made famous by American paratroopers on D-Day, and make the perfect addition to any US Airborne force.
Prepare for a fire mission!
Contains one metal medium mortar with three Warlord Resin US Airborne (D-Day) crew, and plastic base.
Sculpted by Wojciech Flis. Studio miniatures painted by Jamie Getliffe.
Models supplied unassembled and unpainted.
